Abstract Alpines is the first Art Yard class of the season - a colorful and playful acrylic painting workshop designed by Wild Pines owner and artist Liz Swindell.
In this beginner-friendly class, Liz will guide students through her favorite techniques for creating expressive, one-of-a-kind landscape paintings inspired by alpine scenery. Using acrylic paint and a variety of layering, mark-making, and intuitive painting methods, students will learn to embrace exploration, experimentation, and the beauty of happy accidents.
This class is all about loosening up, playing with color, and discovering your own creative style in a welcoming and inspiring environment. Each student will leave with a vibrant finished painting and a deeper confidence in their creative process.
No painting experience necessary. All materials provided.
